June 2015 Mid-Year Audit

Goal

Back in January, I set out my very simple intentions for 2015.  I figured June would be a good time to see where I'm at and if it's even something worth writing a blog post about.

1) Lose Weight - Yeah baby! I am on point with this one!  I surprised myself when I timed myself and came close to jogging for 4 minutes. You don't understand, there was a time when I didn't think I could jog for 2 minutes!

2) Develop Blog - I have been leaning more towards making this blog more about building a business whether it's an online store, blog, freelance, where I share tools I've picked up along the way.  I still share my own shop updates but I think I like where I'm going here.  I may not be posting as much but when I do write a post, I want it to be of value and not just fluff.  Sometimes fluff is okay once in a while.

3) Build Shop - I still have the Storenvy shop and I'm keeping it updated along with the Etsy shop.  I haven't given up on that one.  I added Aftcra to the list of shops but I've been slowly building that.  Importing listings from Etsy is quite easy and it's free!  They only take a commission when you sell an item, which I have not done yet.

Still no sales yet but I have not given this as much attention as I have with Etsy.  While the year was off to a slow start, things really started to pick up in May in Etsy land.

4) Getting rid of stuff - nope. I think we're moving at the end of July. I say "think" because I've said this before  for the last couple of years and we end up staying put.  Don't get me wrong, I do want to move out of this apartment but stay in the Hudson Valley.

I'm glad I kept things simple this year. I'm still writing my e-book which I took a hiatus from because my mind was elsewhere.  I'm trying to get back into now and would like to have it out before the year is over.

Have you made any intentions or set goals at the beginning of the year? Where are you at with that?
