Who Wants Coffee?

Happy Friday! I wanted to share a Coffee-related Etsy treasury one of my necklaces was included in.  I love coffee related anything.

Screen Shot 2014-11-06 at 8.05.09 PMYou know what else I love? TRUE BLOOD! I know the show just ended this year and I'm super late to the party but I just started binge watching it on Amazon Prime . I'm almost done with Season 2.  I spent pretty much all day yesterday watching a bunch of episodes as part of a "Mental Break" day. I just needed a day where I didn't think too much about business and blog stuff.

The distraction was welcomed.  Good God that Alexander Skarsgard is nice to look at! I don't usually go for that type but wow!  Did you watch True Blood when it was on?

Etsy Treasuries ♥

Did Etsy go back to their old treasury set up? I was kinda liking the new version of it.   Woke up today to find myself in two gorgeous treasuries I wanted to share. Click the images to check them out...

I've been planning my Halloween/Dia De Los Muertos jewelry pieces for this year. Right now I only have one Lady Skeleton necklace still available but I will be adding a new batch soon!  But it's nice to see the one I still have get some love too.

Testing New Etsy Treasury Feature

With the recent changes going on with Etsy and it's appearance, it looks like they did add something that I actually LIKE! That's the ability to share Etsy treasuries a little bit easier.

Pastel curated by Old Time Etsy Team on Etsy

There is now an "Embed" button that appears on the upper right corner. When you click it, you get the following pop-up:

You can now easily embed the treasury in to your blog post.  Unfortnately it takes away the details of who the individual sellers are but I guess that is suppose to give you the incentive to click it.

While the graphic only shows nine items, the actual treasury now has 20 items! What do you think? Yay or Nay?

Facing Fear // Etsy Treasuries ♥

There was a time when I was on a serious Buddhism kick. I was getting my hands on books, reading blogs, really trying to apply it to my life.  And then I let myself get distracted and went a different direction but the Buddha's teaching were never completely lost on me.

With all the crap I was dealing with last month, I took a minute to go back to my bookshelf and revisit some of the books I purchased years ago and only read once.  Came across this one....

In the Face of Fear: Buddhist Wisdom for Challenging Times teaches us how to change our state of mind when painful things happen that are beyond our control.  It's a collection of essays that talk about facing tough times head on and finding peace in all of it.

For me, it was letting go of the anger I was feeling towards what others were saying and doing. I wrote more about this last week.  Not only did I need to let it go, but I also need to learn how to keep it gone and not let it come back.

When I first got this book, I started reading it but I don't think I finished it.  I think at that time, I was not ready to take in the message so it sat around waiting for this moment.  It's a good read for anyone looking for more awareness of their thoughts and emotions during hard times and how to see it through.

To change gears here, I also wanted to share a treasury my earrings were included  in.  Gold and Peach - I love this so much!  These colors make me happy.

Friday Etsy Treasuries

Happy Friday! I have another fun set of Etsy treasuries I was fortunate enough to be included in this week.   My Green Rose Necklace was included in two of them, how neat!  Check out the felt bag in the first treasury, I added that to my favorites real quick!

Hope you have fun plans this weekend. I'm going to see wrestling tonight so um, yeah, there's that. I keep my wrestling talk non-existent on my blog but I've been a fan since I was little.  I leave that for Twitter and Facebook. ;)  Have a good weekend!

Friday Etsy Treasuries

Happy Friday! Ready for some Etsy treasuries?  Wedding season is in full swing and this first treasury is a great inspiration for a Blush Wedding.

Screen shot 2014-04-30 at 11.21.14 AMI love how this is a "Spring" treasury but it's not traditional in it's color palette.  This is more my speed.

Screen shot 2014-05-07 at 11.29.28 AMAnd I'm all  for being in an "alternative" treasury - people still use that word? That's so 20th Century!  Have a great weekend!

Friday Etsy Treasuries

Happy Friday! Ready for some Etsy treasuries? I'm loving the colors in this first one.  The blue and orange mix is really starting to grow on me.

Of course this blue would great with YELLOW too. This is a message I always try to follow. Easier said than done.

I'll be back in Cold Spring this Sunday for my monthly stint at Bazaar-on-Hudson.  It would be awesome if it's a repeat of last month!  Have a great weekend!

Friday Etsy Treasuries

Happy Friday! I'm back with a couple more eye-catching treasuries my items were a part of.  I will alternate Fridays between this and the Have You Seen posts. I like to share treasuries that I'm a part of because I don't know how many eyes get to see it outside of the Etsy site. I tweet and share on Facebook when I can but you know how that goes. Blink and you'll miss it.

Click on the images to check them out. Is it too early in the year for Lemonade?
